ABOUT RESTORATIVE HOUSTON

Founded in 2013, Restorative Houston (originally called the Restorative Justice Collaborative of Houston) began as a few educators who gathered monthly to discuss ways to disrupt punitive disciplinary practices in K-12 schools through restorative justice.

Over a decade we have convened conferences, film screenings, community trainings, and community building Circles.

We impact the education, public health, juvenile justice, and social services sectors.

At its root, our work is about creating healing and a beloved community.

Non-Discrimination Policy

We do not and shall not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion (creed), gender, gender expression, age, national origin (ancestry), disability, marital status, sexual orientation, or military status in any of our activities or operations. This commitment extends to all aspects of our work, including the appointment and termination of our Board of Directors, the hiring and dismissal of staff or contractors, the selection of volunteers and vendors, and the provision of our services.

As an equal opportunity employer, Restorative Houston upholds a firm stance against discrimination in all employment-related decisions.
